Makatapos o Matuto?

Marami sa atin ang nag-aaral. Tama? May iilang nag-aaral ng mabuti. Tama?

Meron sa atin ang may goals kung bakit nag-aaral. Tama? Pero madalas na madalas na common pa na tagline 'pag tinanong mo kung bakit nag-aaral is.."Para MAKATAPOS."

Lahat tayo makakatapos. If we put our first foot on the journey, we are bound to finish it. Every journey has its destination. Pero do we ever give attention on how we can reach the destination? Or being on the road?

We are walking with Jesus on this journey, tama? Yes! Every step we take, is guided, made, and finished by Jesus. So why not pay attention as well on the road? Focus on Jesus as we walk.

As we look upon the destination (which is makatapos sa pag-aaral), did we ever put into consideration na matuto?

If our mindset is makatapos lang, para makatapos lang lahat gagawin natin: mandaya sa exams, dayain ang grades para makalusot sa assessment at enrollment, falsification or forging of signatures, para lang makatapos. At the end, may natutunan ka ba? May patutunguhan ka ba matapos nito?

Usually people who don't have dreams and passion do this. Nakakalungkot isipin na may mga taong pinipili 'yung daan na walang patutunguhan. Kasi they do not know what their dreams are..or how are they going to make it happen. I tell you, whatever good thing (good ha, 'yung something that will make us grow) that drives us to excitement, maybe it's our passion. Pray for it and ask God if it is what He wants for us.

Iisipin natin kaya natin kahit anong trabaho afterwards. Pero like my mentor said, wasting time on something you do not like, is WASTING YOUR LIFE. It's not God's plan for us to waste our lives, but to make the most out of it, according to His will. Sasabihin pa na, "matututunan ko ring mahalin 'to," but still, you wasted a part of your life. 'Di mo kasi gusto eh. Sinasabi lang natin 'to, pero sa loob, hirap na hirap na tayo. Kasi walang drive. Walang passion.  'Di pa nakacommit kay God to let the gateway of His plans to happen.

We cannot reach the destination, if we do not prepare for the execution. Kailangan nating matuto. Maghanda. Mag-aral. Gusto nating makatapos, pero ang grade natin mabababa, 'di tayo nag-aaral.

We cannot finish if we do not continue what we started. 'Wag tayong ningas cogon (or kugon). Pero before starting, pray for it, ask God for guidance, then prepare for the execution of our destinations. We really cannot finish schooling without learning. Gusto nating magkatrabaho ng maganda, pero 'di tayo natuto. Wala rin tayong ia-apply. What we did on the past will define our future.

If we acknowledge God in everything we do, He will define our future, for He knows it. He is not after the result of what you did, but your character transformation. God looks upon you living the purpose He planned for you, not on the results.

Gusto nating grumaduate, tama? Minsan maging summa, magna or kahit anong cum laude pa.  Maabot natin 'yon kung may matututunan tayo on the walk to excellence with Jesus. As we learn, we will also grow and apply it on the destination. :)

Makakatapos ka, kung may matututunan ka. :)

Glory to God who provides wisdom para matuto tayo. May His forever living wisdom through His Spirit be upon you all. Amen. :)
